The National Sport Compact Racing Association (N.S.C.R.A) held its first officially round of the 2009 Series on May 3^rd at the Palm Beach International Raceway. Over 150 modified Sport Compact Cars competed in the all-day event, and, along with close to 100 show cars, attracted more than 2,500 spectators.

 Vendors and Sponsors such as Race Engineering, Phantom Grip, Torque Solution, SPEC Clutch, Mike Turbo Inc., South Florida Turbo, Racing Engine Valves, Euro Export Inc., WWR Turbo & Injection and Business Speed Magazine all came out to show their support and their wares.

Along with food, drinks and music, the N.S.C.R.A catered for a larger than usual variety of family oriented entertainment. Still, at the end of the day, it was the high adrenaline racing that left spectators wanting more - - And there shall be more, come July 5^th, 2009.
